Kentucky Junior Rodeo Association

Events

The Kentucky Junior Rodeo offers events for Division I and Division II  participants who receive points for each rodeo (including shares in cash jackpots), with the points accumulating during the season, culminating in the Finals in June.  At the finals there are Grand Champion and Reserve Champion Award Buckles presented in each event, in both Division I and Division II.  There are saddles awarded to the All-Around Cowgirl and All-Around Cowboy from both Division I and Division II.  All Cowgirls and Cowboys receive Participation Awards at the Finals.  Kentucky Junior Rodeo is a complete Rodeo with formal rules and stock, similar to any other Rodeo modified to match the children ages and abilities.  Everyone has fun, but this is Real Rodeo, with all the spills and chills.
